We meet you at your hotel in Merzouga. The first stop is a nomad camp in the Erg Chebbi dunes, where nomad families move from place to place with their herds. Share a glass of tea with them and learn about their traditions and way of life.

Continue to Khamlia, a small desert village home to a Gnawa community, descendants of people brought from sub-Saharan Africa. Discover why Gnawa music is internationally recognised during a live performance, whose soulful rhythms blend Islamic spiritual chants with African beats. After admiring a breathtaking sunset over the desert, return to your hotel in Merzouga.
