Overview

Spend a full day in Chefchaouen, “Morocco’s Blue City”, perched in the Rif Mountains. Wander through one of the most picturesque medinas in the country, with its winding streets of blue-washed houses, lively souks and the Kasbah’s Ethnographic Museum, before returning to Tangier in the afternoon.

Itinerary

Pick-up from your hotel in Tangier and drive through the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen, also called Chaouen, one of Morocco’s most beautiful inland destinations.

On arrival, immerse yourself in the medina: stroll through its winding streets lined with pretty blue houses and browse its souks. Visit the Ethnographic Museum in the Kasbah, which displays regional costumes, musical instruments and handcrafted objects that reveal the traditional way of life in the region. Enjoy lunch at a restaurant of your choice – we recommend trying a tagine. In the afternoon, drive back to Tangier and drop-off at your hotel.
